Hey there!
I’m Daina, the person behind the lens at Wildflower Fields Photo Studio, proudly based right here in Calgary, Alberta.
At 33 years old, I’ve spent a very long time falling deeper and deeper in love with the art of photography. What started as a lifelong curiosity eventually evolved into a passionate pursuit, fueled by countless hours mastering the magic of Photoshop and Lightroom to bring every image to life.
If you are looking for a sterile indoor backdrop with bright studio lights, you won't find it here. Wildflower Fields Photo Studio is anything but your average photography experience—we are proudly, strictly outdoors only!
My heart belongs in the great outdoors. When I’m not behind the camera, you can almost always find me out exploring the rugged beauty of the landscape and hitting the local hiking paths. Nature is my happy place, which is why I love combining my passion for the outdoors with portrait photography. I want to capture you in your element, surrounded by the incredible natural backdrop that Calgary and the surrounding wilderness have to offer.

My mission is to make photography fun, comfortable, and entirely natural. You never need to worry about knowing how to pose or where to look.
I guide you with simple, engaging prompts, gentle movement, and constant encouragement so your true personality shines through. Every session is designed to feel like an outdoor adventure rather than a stiff, formal photoshoot.
